Research Interest:

My Reseach interests are focused on drug metabolism and role of Reactive Oxygen Species (ROS) in health and diseas. Other areas include drug discovery, analysis and pharmacokinetics. More than 40 publications and six books in this fields, in addition to five chapters.

الإهتمامات البحثية: تتركز الأبحاث على الايض الدوائي و دور الشوارد الحرة في الصحة و المرض. تم نشر اكثر من اربعين بحث في هذه المجالات و تم نشرها في أفضل الدوريات الامريكية و الاوروبية و اليابانية.

تمت المشاركة في تأليف ست كتب منشورة و خمس فصول  في هذه المجالات.

اشرف حالياً على أربع رسايل دكتوراه و ماجستر و حصلت على عدّة منح بحثية في مجالات تخثر الدم و امراض القلب و السرطان من جامعة الملك سعود و مدينة الملك عبدالعزيز للعلوم و التكنولوجيا. من أهم الانجازات البحثية المشاركة مع جامعة يينا الالمانية بنشر بحث عن اكتشاف أدوية فعالة لمرضي الايدز و التهاب الكبد الوبائي من النوع ب. تم ايضاً في معاملنا تصنيع اكثر من عشرين مضاداً حيوياً و تم نشرها في ارقى الدوريات العلمية. أخر الاكتشافات البحثية: الربط بين مرضي التصلب الطرفي العصبي (ALS) و التهالك العصبي (ALD) و التوصية باستخدام دواء الريليوزول (Riluzole) في الحالتين و ذلك لتشابه المسبب المرضي و تم نشر البحث في كندا.
