James P. Stambuli
James
Stambuli was born in Paterson, NJ and received his BA in Chemistry with
Honors from Rutgers University in Newark, NJ in 1998. He obtained his
PhD from Yale University in the laboratory of Prof. John Hartwig in 2003
and was an NIH Postdoctoral Fellow with Prof. Barry Trost at Stanford
University from 2003 to 2006. He began an independent research career at
the Ohio State University in 2006 and recently joined the PR&D
division of AbbVie. Prof. Stambuli’s research is in the fields of
organometallic and organic chemistry with particular emphasis on
transition metal catalyst design to assist in the invention of new
technologies for chemical transformations.
