Summary
Pete
received his Ph.D. degree in chemistry from the University of Arizona
in 1999. He joined Merck (MSD) in the same year and continued working
there until 2014, progressing in his career from Senior Research Chemist
to Principal Scientist. He has extensive experience in drug
development, working on/leading cross-functional teams, mentoring other
scientists and managing multiple projects/staff at the same time. He was
directly involved in the commercialization of several Merck drugs,
being responsible for both the technical and regulatory aspects of such.
In
2014, Pete joined GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) in the capacity of Team Leader,
where he currently manages a group of scientists in the development of
