Devon Mundal 

Devon joined the Sarpong group in February 2012. As an NIH Ruth L. Kirschstein NRSA Postdoctoral Fellow, he is investigating the application of methoxypyridines as piperidine surrogates in efforts toward the total synthesis of the anticancer natural products citrinadin A and citrinadin B. Devon received his Ph.D. from Northwestern University in December 2012 under the mentorship of Professor Regan J. Thomson. His doctoral research focused on the development of hydrazone-based traceless fragment coupling reactions.

Joined in: 2014   Johannes Kaschel  Johannes grew up in Wolfenbuettel, Germany. For his studies of chemistry he moved to Goettingen, Germany, where he joined the group of Prof. D. B. Werz to investigate rearrangement reactions of donor-acceptor cyclopropanes.
