ABOUT DR. GHASSAN ABU SHEIKHA
Professor Ghassan M. Abu Shaikha obtained a Ph.D. degree in Medicinal Chemistry from University of Pisa- Italy , and a Bachelor degree in Pharmacy and Bachelor degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology from University of Camerino - Italy . He started his professional life in Faculty of Pharmacy in University of Camerino – Italy as Assistant Research Professor, then as Assistant Professor of Medicinal Chemistry in Faculty of pharmacy in applied science university in Amman Jordan. He joined the academic team in the faculty of pharmacy in Al Zaytoonah university in 2005 as the dean of the faculty. where he taught various undergraduate and graduate courses and supervised around twenty five masters and Ph.D. students. Currently, he is a full professor of medicinal chemistry. His professional experience includes consultancy and advisory work for industry, research laboratories, and governmental institutions. He is a Member of American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP) since 2013 to present and an advisory member and Reviewer for Jordan Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences
