Biography :
Dr. Ramsinghani obtained her Bachelor in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) and Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm) in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from India.  Thereafter, she worked as an analytical chemist in a pharmaceutical manufacturing company in India.  She went on to obtain her doctoral degree in Medicinal Chemistry from the University of Toledo, Toledo, Ohio, in 1998, and followed it with postdoctoral research experience at the University of Kentucky, Lexington, Kentucky.
Dr. Ramsinghani is a member of American Chemical Society (ACS), Sigma Xi (the Scientific Research Society), and American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP).
Research Interest :
Her current research interest is in the area of post-translational modification of proteins by poly(ADP-ribosyl)ation and its implication in cancer therapy. She has published in peer-reviewed journals.  She has experience in chemical syntheses, protein chemistry and cell biology techniques. Dr. Ramsinghani is actively engaged in research and grant-writing. She was the principal investigator of an NIH funded subproject to develop chemo-potentiating agents to enhance the effects of cancer therapy. She was a co-investigator in an NIH funded sub-project to synthesize thio-ether conjugates of MDMA (Ecstasy) in an attempt to understand how MDMA mediates its neuronal toxicity.  She was also a co-investigator on a breast cancer research project.
One of the heading exhaustive colleges in Texas, the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio strives to teach men and ladies who will get to be concerned and illuminated subjects with qualities created in a Judeo-Christian convention. The school was confessed to participation in the Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools in 1919, and joined the Texas Association of Colleges as a senior school in 1920. The Graduate Studies division was built in 1950. Male understudies were initially conceded into the school's undergrad programs in 1970. Incarnate Word College turned into the University of the Incarnate Word in 1996. Today, UIW is a Hispanic-Serving Institution under government rules. UIW offers 80 undergrad and graduate fields of study, including the Ph.d. in Education and doctoral degrees in drug store (Pharm.d.), optometry (OD), nursing practice (DNP), active recuperation (DPT) and business organization (DBA). UIW is one of twenty colleges in the U.s. with an optometry program. UIW additionally made the national Top 10 Honor Roll in the medium-sized order for colleges with enlistments somewhere around 3,000 and 9,999 understudies. The graduate nursing project has been perceived as one of the main 65 graduate projects broadly by U.s. News Media Group. In 2012, UIW was positioned No. 21 broadly by Super Scholar for having one of the best online school programs in the U.s.
