She is currently developing organic chemistry labs that bring chemistry concepts to life for students, as well as a mentorship program for chemistry majors to provide a comfortable academic and social environment. Previously, McClory has done research on the use of organometallic and organocatalysts in the development of new organic reactions and the application of such methods to the synthesis of natural products.
