Durabn
university of technology formally known as Durban Institute of
Technology was founded by Technikon Natal and ML Sultan Technikon in the
year 2002. The instituted is located in the KwaZulu-Natal, a province
of South Africa. Initally started with 350- part time students, the
university currently holds about 20000 students. The university wishes
to develop leadership in the young minds and produce productive
citizenship.
Lalini Reddy has completed her doctorate degree in
Biotechnology at the age of 41 years from Durban University of
Technology. She has been a faculty member teaching undergraduate and
supervising postgraduate students for the last 26 years. She has
published in highly reputable peer-reviewed journals and has served as a
reviewer for several journals. She has surveyed more than 30
traditional South African plants for their medicinal potential.
