Short Bio-data:
Jyotirmayee Dash received her MSc from Ravenshaw University and PhD in organic chemistry from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur. Subsequently she was awarded Alexander von Humboldt fellowship (2004-2006) and worked at the Freie University Berlin. Then she worked as a postdoctoral fellow at the ESPCI Paris for one year. Following which she was awarded Marie Curie International incoming fellowship and joined the University of Cambridge, UK (2007-2009). She joined as an Assistant Professor at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research-Kolkata in 2009 and then moved to the Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science-Kolkata in 2012.
Candidates having MSc degree either in chemistry or biochemistry, closely related areas with inspire/CSIR fellowships can directly apply to Dr Dash (ocjd[AT]iacs.res.in) for PhD positions.
