Summary

Research Experience • Between 1997 and 2012, the research axes that I developed in my research laboratory specialized in Natural Products, Pharmaceutical and Environmental Chemistry as well as Organic and Organometallic Synthesis. My research team was consisted of 4 PhD holders and many Master and doctoral students. • Between 2002 and 2012, I developed a scientific cooperation with the University of Pierre & Marie Curie (France), Cairo University (Egypt) and Kuwait University (Kuwait) through the mutual supervision over the doctoral students, exchanging scientific visits, evaluating the subjects and the participation in judgment committees for doctoral defenses. As a result of this cooperation, I had a research visitation for six months at the University of Pierre & Marie Curie in Paris (07/2005 – 01/2006). My research work was about two projects: 1. New Organometallic compounds are produced by Reactions of a mixture of Dialkyltin (IV) and Bidentate Amines. Some Resulting Cristal Structures are determined by Diffraction of Rayon x, NMR (1H and 13C), and others. 2. Syntheses of some dendrimers (symmetrical structures) by coordinating reactions carry out between some donor organic compounds and transitional minerals (Cu, Co and Ni).

Education

Université Paul Sabatier (Toulouse III)

Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.), Organometallic Chemistry / Coordinating Chemistry, Summa Cum Laude
1983 – 1986
Selective dimerisation of isoprene to 2, 6-dimethyl-1, 3 (E), 6 (E)-octatriene. The reaction was catalyzed by Palladium Cationic Complexes. All reactions were carried out in an autoclave in gas phase. The results were mainly identified with Gas Chromatography and (1H and 13C) NMR after being isolated under law pressure distillation. The selectivity in main product was more than 90% and the activity was more than 95%

Slow, spontaneous degradation of lansoprazole, omeprazole and pantoprazole tablets: isolation and structural characterization of the toxic antioxidants 3H-benzimidazole-2-thiones.

Pharmazie
September 2013
The spontaneous degradation of lansoprazole, omeprazole and pantoprazole tablets upon long-term and forced storage conditions was determined by high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). The more abundant products could be isolated by liquid chromatography and their molecular weights determined by Mass Spectrometry (MS). Their structures, established according to their spectroscopic data,...more

A facile synthesis of some biologically active disperse dyes derived from arylazonicotinates and their application on polyester fabrics

European Journal of Chemistry
June 9, 2013
The past four decades have witnessed considerable innovation in the field of azo dye chemistry based on heterocyclic systems and studies in the synthesis of such derivatives have been reported [な]. (eterocyclic based azo dyes are not only important for their excellent properties as disperse dyes for polyester textiles; they have also been utilized in non‐textile applications such as photodynamic...more

June 7, 2012
Abstract: A series of novel azo-disperse dyes containing alkylhydrazonopyridinone structures were synthesized. 4-Methyl-2,6-dioxo-1-propyl-1,2,5,6-tetrahydropyridine-3- carbonitrile (8) is synthesized by one-pot synthesis using ethyl cyanoacetate, propylamine, and ethyl acetoacetate. Compound 8 is then coupled with aromatic and heteroaromatic diazonium salts to afford the corresponding aryl...more

Degradation of Neutral Red Dye by Anodic Oxidation under Different Treatment Conditions

3) R. J. of Aleppo, Sciences Basic Series
2007
Anodic oxidation technique has been used in the degradation of Neutral Red. The influence of the electrolyte (type and concentration), initial dye concentration and current density on the degradation rates has been studied. To compare the rates of color and COD removal in each case, samples were collected at pre-selected intervals and absorbance measurements and chemical oxygen demand (...more
